Project Habitat, Mixed Use

A Contemporary Commune. This conceptual development consists of 4 symbiotic proposals which work to mutually support one another through various demonstrations of community, in the vast city of London.

The structure consists of communal living, open plan residential space with a 24hr designated work space. Designed for the generation of 20-35 year olds looking for an alternative balanced lifestyle in London. The project also includes social elements that can be funded by both the residential profits and council grants in order to create a well rounded, complex and self supporting community. The first is an Inner City habitat and the second a social workshop therapy programme. An experimental exploration of utopian developments of the future.
